Full Security System Installation
This client got in touch with us regarding taking over the maintenance of their current Intruder Alarm, Access Control and Fire Alarm system with possible upgrades to their systems if required.
A site visit was conducted to inspect the current system and options to upgrade.
Intruder Alarm System
To upgrade the system to a Grade 2 system with a Signalling device to provide 24/7 monitoring of the intruder alarm.
We advised adding a new main control panel, remote keypad, expander to boost the signal, external sounder with back light to front of property and a decoy sounder to rear of property with a Dualcom Grade 2 GPRS Signalling device to be installed in the main panel.
We were able to utilise the existing zone devices, and added a new grade 2 contact to the main front door, grade 2 roller shutter contact to the rear shutter door, and relocation of an existing PIR into a new office area.
The new control panel also gives the client remote access through the Intruder Alarm phone application.
Network Access Control System
We arranged to take over the existing 3 door Paxton Access Control System. A small cat5e data network was required to be installed. Paxton Net2 software was installed on to the clients existing PC and a Paxton desktop reader was provided for ease of token programming.
We also provided and programmed 10 tokens for the employee to use. A full service of all the existing access control equipment was carried out.
Fire Alarm System
Following the surveyors visit to site it was agreed that a L4 system was sufficient for the property and the additional smoke detectors were installed and a full service carried out on the system.
The client was provided with the relevant test keys and advised of weekly test procedures and how to record these in the provided log book.
