Access Control System Installation
Working for an existing customer in Accrington we were asked to install a new access control system across the school site that would help with the flow of students at set times and prevent them from entering restricted areas.
We installed a networked access control system from Paxton. 8 Paxton access control units were installed and we also installed video intercom which was connected to the existing automatic doors.
We also installed several other Paxton controllers at the premises to assist with the flow of students at set times and installed magnetic door locks on certain areas.
The software we installed offers programming features that allows the doors to be open at set times to allow for the flow of people. In addition the software allows the client to expand the system due to the easy networking solutions offered by Full Circuit Fire & Security.
Installation Overview
- 8 Paxton Access Control units
- Magnetic door locks with Paxton P38 readers
- Created an airlock area preventing students from entering certain areas during the day
- Provided client with software for creating their own ID badges
- System is networkable allowing doors to be added when required and controlled from the Paxton software installed to the clients PC
